L&T Financial Services Group CSR organized ‘Convergence 2020’ – an annual event as refreshment training on 17th and 18th December 2020. Implementing partners of LTFS CSR programmes were invited for this event which was conducted online due to the pandemic situation. The fundamental idea of organising this event was to help implementing partners to widen and explore opportunities for better outcomes. The training was conducted by KPMG, Mumbai.
Convergence- the Capacity Building program is designed to support implementing partners, develop effective and well-managed organizations that make the best use of their human and financial resources to maintain business sustainability. With a great focus on delivering successful strategies, emerging tools, specific skills, and tactics necessary to build the capacity, the program aims at empowering the organizations to perform better internally and towards the community.
With the intent to offer a highly specialized training program, LTFS, in collaboration with KPMG had conducted the Social Return on Investment (SRoI) training in August 2018 for all its implementing partners. The training has helped the partner organisations to measure the total value generated for every rupee invested in development sector interventions. Since it has been over two years, this year’s convergence program was organized as a refresher training on the same topic.
As SARVAM is one of the implementing partners of LTFS, Mr. Senthilkumar and Mrs. Chitra attended this program. All CSR Team from the LTFS were a part of this training. The sessions were conducted in an interactive manner which was very useful for implementing partners to share their ideas and also to learn from others.
This refreshment training was very much useful for all the implementing partners.
