‘Little drops of water make a mighty ocean’, with this thought, “Boondein”, the employee volunteering program was conceptualized in January 2017 by LTFS.
‘Boondein’- Employee Volunteering Programme- Engaging the key stakeholder i.e. employee, into the larger structure of the organization allows for the creation of an environment of participation and builds a participative and aligned culture. LTFS through Boondein attempts to create a culture of sharing wherein employees directly work towards a social change by building capacities of the lesser privileged communities in LTFS’s Social Responsibility programs.
As a part of this program, 11 employees of LTFS gave online training to 95 digital sakhis on various topics like English Literacy, Personality development, Soft skills, Computer skills, Job preparedness tips, Interview tips, etc.
All the digital sakhis were very happy as they got these skills completely online staying at the comfort of their houses. They have expressed that all these skills would be very useful for their future life. They Thanked SARVAM and LTFS for this arrangement.
