On 12th February 2025, SARVAM organized a Motivation Program on Caring for the Elderly and Palliative Care Patients at the Satyam Community Centre, Puducherry. The session, led by a professional physiotherapist, aimed to equip volunteers with essential caregiving skills while inspiring them to serve the elderly with empathy and dedication.

The program focused on both the physical and emotional well-being of senior citizens, offering volunteers practical guidance on handling age-related health concerns, improving mobility, and enhancing the overall quality of life for elders. The trainer shared real-life experiences from palliative care, providing deeper insights into the challenges faced by patients and caregivers. Through these stories, volunteers learned the significance of compassion, patience, and attentive care in supporting the elderly.

An engaging question-and-answer session allowed volunteers to discuss real-life challenges, seek expert advice, and gain confidence in their caregiving approach. The interactive nature of the session encouraged participants to share their own experiences, creating a supportive learning environment where practical tips and encouragement were exchanged.

The physiotherapist praised the volunteers for their enthusiasm and commitment, recognizing their vital role in providing compassionate care to the elderly. The session concluded on a highly positive note, leaving the volunteers motivated, well-informed, and better prepared to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
