On 20 July 2025, SARVAM organised a motivational programme aimed at building self-confidence among adolescent girls across 10 project villages. This initiative impacted approximately 150 students, providing them with an encouraging space to discover their strengths and enhance their self-belief. The programme aligns with SARVAM’s larger mission of empowering young girls through participatory and transformative learning experiences.

Designed to be dynamic and engaging, the sessions incorporated theatre games, group discussions, and public speaking activities. Theatre games effectively helped break inhibitions, encouraging spontaneous communication and creativity. Group discussions offered a supportive setting for the girls to share their thoughts, concerns, and aspirations, allowing them to recognise shared experiences and build mutual encouragement.

Public speaking exercises, such as storytelling and personal sharing, significantly contributed to developing communication skills and confidence. Facilitators guided the students to speak clearly and coherently, helping reduce stage fright and nurture self-assurance.

The programme was met with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback. Many girls shared that they felt more confident and were able to speak up for the first time. SARVAM plans to expand these efforts to reach more adolescent girls, continuing its commitment to shaping self-aware and empowered young women.
