An appreciation programme was organised by SARVAM at the Satyam Community Centre to honour its elderly women athletes who participated in the 43rd State Level Masters Athletic Competition held at Karaikudi. The event celebrated the extraordinary dedication, discipline, and perseverance of aged women athletes who represented SARVAM with pride and distinction. A total of 49 participants secured an impressive tally of 51 medals across various athletic events, reflecting their remarkable commitment to physical fitness and competitive sports even at an advanced age.

During the programme, appreciation certificates and medals were awarded to all participants in recognition of their achievements. In a significant milestone, SARVAM was also conferred with a trophy for securing First Place in the Women’s Category at the state level, marking a moment of collective pride and accomplishment. The event was graced by the Village President, the Villupuram District Masters Athletic Coordinator, sports masters, and other respected village representatives, all of whom commended the athletes for their inspiring performances and congratulated them for bringing honour to their communities.
The speakers extended heartfelt wishes for good health and longevity to the athletes, acknowledging their courage and unwavering commitment to sports. The programme highlighted how these inspiring grandmothers have emerged as powerful role models, motivating women across villages by demonstrating that age is no barrier to excellence, resilience, and achievement.
