For over two decades, SARVAM has been steadfast in its mission to empower rural women by addressing their educational, social, and health-related needs. Continuing this commitment, SARVAM recently conducted a comprehensive health awareness campaign on 18 July 2025 across 10 project villages, reaching nearly 225 women.
The campaign focused on critical yet often under-discussed women’s health issues, such as breast and uterine cancer, menopause, and general wellness. These topics were selected based on the growing health concerns among rural women and the prevailing silence and lack of awareness surrounding them.
The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation, with many women courageously opening up about their personal health experiences. Their responses clearly highlighted the urgent need for continued efforts in health education and support services. Participants expressed deep appreciation for the space provided to discuss such important matters openly.
To ensure comfort and active participation, the sessions included group discussions and interactive play-based activities, creating a relaxed and engaging learning environment. This
approach fostered a sense of trust and community, making it easier for women to absorb key health messages and share their own insights.
This impactful initiative reflects SARVAM’s holistic approach to women’s empowerment—by equipping them with knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health. With consistent outreach and compassionate engagement, SARVAM continues to lay the foundation for a healthier and more self-reliant rural India.
