Joyful Republic Day Celebrations at SARVAM Children’s Corners

SARVAM joyfully celebrated Republic Day on 26 January 2026 across 12 Children’s Corner centres in the project villages, with enthusiastic participation from nearly 300 students. The celebration was designed to instil a sense of patriotism, unity, and joy among children while helping them understand the significance of the day in a simple and engaging manner. The atmosphere across all centres was vibrant, festive, and filled with collective pride in the nation.

The programme featured a range of child-friendly activities that encouraged creativity and self-expression. Students took part in drawing sessions, using colours, national symbols, and imaginative ideas to depict their love for the country. These activities not only nurtured artistic skills but also helped children connect emotionally with the values of freedom, unity, and national identity.

Adding meaning to the celebrations, several children delivered short speeches on the importance of Republic Day, India’s freedom struggle, and the values enshrined in the Constitution. Their confident expressions and thoughtful words reflected the positive impact of value-based education imparted through the Children’s Corner centres.

The celebrations concluded on a joyful note with balloon activities and cake cutting, spreading cheer and laughter among all participants.
