SARVAM, with the support of Bandhan Bank, conducted a comprehensive Women’s Leadership Development Programme at the Satyam Community Centre on 5 December 2025. More than 100 women from 20 villages participated, bringing together diverse backgrounds and a shared aspiration for personal and community growth. The programme aimed to strengthen leadership skills and empower women to take active roles in decision-making within their families, groups, and communities.

The training covered essential leadership concepts, including the qualities of an effective leader, clear communication, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving. To ensure practical learning and active involvement, the sessions included interactive activities such as group discussions, role plays, and small team exercises. These methods encouraged participants to speak with confidence, collaborate effectively, and reflect on their own strengths as emerging leaders.

Two national-level trainers facilitated the sessions, dividing the women into two groups to ensure focused attention and meaningful engagement. Their dynamic approach and supportive guidance helped create a motivating and inclusive learning environment. Overall, the programme significantly boosted participants’ confidence, broadened their understanding of leadership, and equipped them with essential skills to contribute more effectively to community development initiatives.
