On 27 November 2025, SARVAM, in collaboration with Bandhan Bank, organised an Orientation and Motivation Programme at Satyam Community Centre, focusing on empowering rural women through confidence-building, leadership development, and financial awareness. A total of 230 women from 20 villages attended the programme across four batches, ensuring personal guidance and interactive learning for each group.
The sessions were facilitated by national-level trainers, Dr Nirmala and Dr Sarala Devi, who are well-known for their extensive work in women’s leadership and empowerment. Through motivational talks, real-life success stories, group discussions and interactive activities, participants were encouraged to recognise their inner potential, set meaningful goals, and cultivate a positive and resilient mindset.
The programme highlighted the importance of self-belief, motivation, entrepreneurship, and financial independence. Women were introduced to practical aspects such as savings habits, household budgeting, and basic financial planning to strengthen decision-making within the family. The trainers also emphasised the role of financial literacy in transforming women’s lives and enabling their growth as independent contributors to society.
The sessions included simple techniques related to mental well-being, stress management, and work-life balance, along with easy health exercises and reflective practices. A significant focus was placed on nurturing leadership qualities and encouraging women to explore livelihood opportunities that could enhance their economic stability.
The programme concluded with a message of collective progress and community support, inspiring participants to continue learning, supporting each other, and advancing together as a unified force. The women expressed deep gratitude to SARVAM and Bandhan Bank for providing a platform that strengthened confidence, vision, and practical life skills.
This initiative stands as a meaningful step towards building a future where rural women lead with dignity, knowledge, and self-reliance.
