Annual Day Celebrations at SARVAM

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Lao Tzu.

SARVAM has proved this right and they have successfully completed their 16 years of its journey in societal development works and has stepped into its 17^th year of a great service. To commemorate the successful completion of 16 years of successful works, an Annual Day Celebration took place in Satyam Community Centre at Poothurai village.

It’s been around 10 months since activities were conducted in the villages.  Due to the lockdown people were not allowed in the Satyam Centre and when it was decided to celebrate the Annual Day at Satyam Centre, many people participated with utmost enthusiasm. More than 300 people and 150 students took part in the Annual Day celebrations.

Meditation was arranged as a part of Annual Day Celebration and people were divided in small groups to involve in meditation. The COVID-19 safety protocols were followed and all the people were asked to maintain social distancing during the entire celebration.

All the people were very happy and they thanked SARVAM for the help it has done throughout the years. They also assured that in the coming days, they will be supportive to SARVAM in all its endeavors. After a long gap they all came together and celebrated this day with great enthusiasm. The smiles on their faces showed how eagerly they are awaiting for a Zero-Corona community.
